California Lutheran University
Founded in 1959, California Lutheran University is a private university located in Thousand Oaks, California, with Centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills, California. CLU offers undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs through our College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Serving nearly 2,600 undergraduates and 1,300 graduate students, the selective liberal arts and science institution offers 37 undergraduate majors and 31 minors. Master’s degree programs are offered in education, business administration, public policy and administration, computer science, psychology, information systems and technology, and economics. CLU offers doctoral programs in educational leadership and higher education leadership, as well as a doctorate in clinical psychology. Members of the CLU student body come from nearly 50 countries around the globe, representing a diversity of faiths and cultures. Our mission is to educate leaders for a global society who are strong in character and judgment, confident in their identity and vocation, and committed to service and justice.
